Rin may seem to be a strange addition to Sesshoumaru's entourage, but he does have a reason for keeping her around, or at least we think so. Here are some possibilities.

-She knows all of the Rolling Stone's Greatest Hits, and he can't afford an I-Pod.
-If you have a kid, you can play in the ball pit, duh.
-Would you want to travel around with just Jaken?
-He really does like flowers.
-Now he get a Happy Meal without looking like a complete douche.
-Chicks dig guys who are good with kids.
-He is a dog with a pet child. Go figure.
-He has been drinking too many toddies with Kagome's mother which has impaired his judgement.
-Dakota Fanning was unavailable for the position.
